"For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology"
Vision: "To create a world where science and technology are celebrated...whereyoung people dream of becoming science and technology heroes" |
The primary goal of FIRST is to inspire students and adults to appreciate engineering, science, and technology. The LuNaTecs encourage interaction with our sponsors and our local communities. The robot (SAM) and team are available to make special presentations to our sponsors and communities. This past year SAM has made visits to several local schools, rotary clubs and the SCC Adventure Camp. Please contact us if you would like to have SAM visit your school or organization. We utilize a combination of funding sources, including large corporate sponsors, neighborhood businesses and individual donors. Additionally, the team is continually fund raising throughout the year with activities which include raffles, soda sales, 5K Robotic Run Walk and concession sales. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! If you would like to help us raise the $30,000 needed to send our team to regional and national competitions please click on the sponsor form to support us. Thank You! We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to the following sponsors for their contributions of money and in-kind gifts. Without their support "SAM",our"Small and Mighty" robot, would just be a box of parts. PLATINUM Sponsors:
