They truly exemplify the LuNaTeCs motto of"Learning Under Nurturing Adults Teaching Engineering Concepts!" We can not thank them enough for the long hours and tireless energy they have invested into our lives and to our SMALL and MIGHTY robot: "SAM" Mr. Bartlett Job Title: Engineer, DuPont Years on Team: 8th year Why You Participate: "The kids keep me young!" Ms. Lisa Job Title: Mechanical ATO Engineer, DuPont Years on Team: 1st year Why You Participate: "Being on a robotics team in high school is what helped me choose my career path and as an engineer and it's FUN!!" Mrs. Danner Job Title: Team Coordinator; Works at DuPont Years on Team: 2nd year Why You Participate: To promote science and engineering in the community and show students alternative careers. Mr. Elmore Job Title: Engineer IV, DuPont Years on Team: 1st year Why You Participate: "Help out the young-ins, impart my knowledge, build cool stuff..." Mr. Fordham Job Title: Electrical Engineer/Designer, PSE&G Years on Team: 7 years Why You Participate: "I do it for the kids." Mr. & Mrs. George Job Titles: Mr. George/Rover Technician @PolyOne; Mrs. George/Domestic Engineer Years on Team: 2nd year Why You Participate: "We are interested in our daughter's activites." Mr. Hinde Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer, BE&K; DuPont Chambers Works Years on Team: Since inception in 1999 Why You Participate: "It is a honor to inspire young people; This program demonstrates real-life, multi-faceted problem solving and I enjoy watching the students that have gone through this program mature and develop a sense of who they are and what they can accomplish."
